CAMPING QUESTIONS
Does every individual need an individual camping ticket?
- YES- every single person planning to camp, needs their own camping ticket.
Can we arrive on Thursday, August 26th and set up camp?
-No, campers may check in Friday at 10:00 AM
I purchased a ticket for only one day; will I be able to camp on site that night?
- Yes, but only if you purchased a camping pass for that night.
I have only purchased a ticket for Friday, but I would like to camp with my friends on-site Friday night, and leave early on Saturday – is this possible?
- You will not be able to camp on site if you have not purchased a camping pass. People camping Friday night can leave whenever they want to on Saturday.
Can we stay and camp on site Sunday night?
- No, camping will not be allowed Sunday night.
I have a weekend general admission ticket and am not camping – how early on Friday can I arrive?
- Festival gates open Friday at 12:00pm.
What will be provided in the camping area?
- Bathrooms, hand washing stations, and lighting. YES, it is primitive camping.
We have a cushy set up in the back of our truck. Can we sleep IN our truck?
-SURE, but only if you have a camping pass
SHUTTLES
How early/late will shuttles be running?
-Shuttles to/from satellite parking will be running all day. They will start 30 minutes before the gates open (11:30 AM Friday & 9:30 AM Saturday) The pickup location is Boone Mall.
I will be riding the shuttles – how will I carry my heavy camping equipment to the site?
- Passengers will be allowed to carry camping equipment on the shuttle.
TICKETS
I don’t have my tickets, but plan to buy them when I arrive. How early/late can I come each day and enter the site?
BOX OFFICE schedule is as follows:
-FRIDAY: 12:00pm-10:00pm
-SATURDAY: 10am-10:00pm

FRONT GATE schedule is as follows:
-FRIDAY: 12:00pm–10:00pm
-SATURDAY: 10:00am–10:00pm
Are tickets rain or shine?
- YES- all tickets are rain or shine
If it looks like it’s going to rain the entire weekend, and I don’t want to come anymore – can I get a refund?
-NO – Tickets are rain or shine.
What is the cost of children’s tickets?
- Children 13 & under are given free admission.
FRONT GATE
Will you search my cooler?
-YES – we will search your cooler. If you have medical equipment (such as insulin supplies), please inform the security personnel searching your cooler.
Can I bring Alcohol?
-Beer is allowed, there is a 12 pack limit per person and $5 alcohol fee at the festival gate.
What can I NOT bring?
- GLASS, glow sticks, weapons, dogs and pets, fireworks, laser pointers, illegal substances, liquor, styrofoam coolers and bad attitudes are NOT ALLOWED.
What SHOULD I bring?
- Sunscreen, rain coat, WATER, cash, some type of hat, smiles, YOUR TICKET, blanket, chairs, good attitudes!
VENDORS
I am a vendor, how early can I come and setup on site?
-Vendors may set up 12:00pm-7:00pm Thursday, and 7:00am-10:30am Friday. (Vendors must be setup by 10:30am Friday!)

GENERAL QUESTIONS
What do I do in case of medical emergency on site?
-Medical emergencies are exactly that – THERE IS NOTHING MORE IMPORTANT to us than your safety and your general well-being. There is one designated FIRST AID areas on site, and there are trained medical personnel on site at all times. Please familiarize yourself with these locations as soon as you enter the site. ADDITIONALLY, if there is an emergency, feel free to approach ANY FESTIVAL STAFF or VOLUNTEER, ANYONE carrying a RADIO, driving a GOLF CART, wearing a STAFF t-shirt, or a volunteer shirt will make it their priority to help. Finally, our festival goers are an amazing group of people – please ask for help if you need it.
Will I be able to drive in and out of the site during the weekend?
- Only those who are NOT camping will be allowed to move their vehicles.
What are the directions to the festival site?
I am handicapped – will I be allowed to park on site?
-YES – we have a number of slots in the designated Handicap parking area on site close to the main stage (first come/first serve basis). Please note: YOU HAVE TO HAVE a state issued handicapped license plate or license PRIOR to entering the site in order to be able to park in the handicapped parking lot.
Can I record the performances?
-AUDIO: Unless otherwise announced prior to a specific performance, YES. Taping is on a first come basis. PLEASE NOTE: the taping is for personal use only, and you DO NOT have permission to use your taped performances in ANY commercial way.
